Summer Activities
Your stay at the Bachlerhof will go straight to the heart of any hiker and walker.
To the south lies the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes the Sass de Putia, Gruppo delle Odle, the Sella and the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. Well known places and sites such as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Lake Misurina, Cortina or Lake Braies can each be reached by car in approx. 1h. To the north you will find the Gruppo delle Vedrette di Ries and parts of the Zillertal Alps, the Monte Sommo, and the Val Aurina Valley.
In short, the Bachlerhof is an ideal starting point for hikes of all difficulties, may it be an easy walk, hikes through low mountain ranges or even a climbing tour in the Dolomites.
At Plan de Corones, which is easily accessible via lift in summer, you will find one of the Messner Mountain Museums. Spend a day at Plan de Corones, try one of the many activties and enjoy the spctacular view.
At a short driving distance from the Bachlerhof there is also South Tyrol's biggest rope park at Lake Issengo.
If you love cycling, there are many possible trails and tracks for you in Riscone and around Brunico. You can even ride all the way to Lienz in Austria along the Val Pusteria Valley cycling track or to Rio Pusteria in the west (and take the train back home!). There are tracks for families as well as mountainbikers, especially if you are fit enough to ride all the way up to Plan de Corones. With the right equipment and experience you can take one of the downhill tracks back down the mountain.
Do you golf? Then pursue your hobby at the 9 hole golfcourse nearby and enjoy the beautiful scenery while playing. GOLF CLUB PUSTERTAL
